Hi, I am April Johnson with Route 63 Realty in Hayward. As a lifelong resident of the area, I know every corner of the northland which helps me bring buyers and sellers together. I pride myself as a problem solver with a get it done attitude so that nearly all of my transactions run smoothly.

I am married to a local contractor, Trent Johnson of Trent Johnson Construction. We have 2 amazing boys, 3 dogs, a ferret, a sun conure (Hank), and a bearded dragon. We enjoy everything Northern Wisconsin has to offer from hiking, boating, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and using our UTV.

I didn’t always live in Hayward, I was born in Rochester, MN and started my career with IBM – 30 years. I also have a farming background as I grew up in a rural community. I am married and have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren that I enjoy spending time with. I have lived on Round Lake for many years and enjoy boating and fishing on the lake.

I often spend time enjoying the lake life with friends and family. Other hobbies of mine include hunting and snowmobiling. I have been coming to Hayward since the 70’s and know the area very well.”

I am a Mom, I have a daughter and a son. I also have 1 dog, 5 chickens, and a hamster! When I have down time, I enjoy singing, photography, camping, hunting & fishing!

I started working in real estate a few years ago as an office administrator! My Boss at the time inspired me to pursue a career in real estate. The love she had for her career was inspiring. I started out working in Real Estate (East Metro MPLS/St. Paul area) as a MN licensed agent from 2012 to 2018 and then moved back to Hayward with my husband and bought our home; using April as our Agent. As I got back into real estate, I am now licensed in WI.   

I love Real Estate simply because I have always had a passion for houses. It brings me great joy helping clients find and close on the right home! As they say, “If it is meant to be, it will be!” You may lose a few in the beginning but the home you are meant to be in will come along. I said “No” twice to the home we are living in; (third times a charm) and it may not be perfect in my eyes, but we love the space, the scenery, and the privacy. Things you can’t change when buying a home, everything else is cosmetic!”

“Hello, I am Pam Gerken. I am a Real Estate Agent for Route 63 Realty. I have lived in Hayward my entire life and love it! After graduating high school, I obtained my cosmetology license and have been a hair stylist since. Being in that industry has also set sights on a new adventure to pursue real estate. Real estate for me began in July of 2023. What I enjoy most about both real estate and being a hair stylist is meeting new people and creating long lasting relationships. 

In my free time, I love spending time with my kids and 2 pugs outdoors! We like to go swimming, to the movies, snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, and camping. I also spend time as a nursery coordinator at a local church.
